Our story

Everyone has an opinion about house prices. We score them.

PricePinner started with a simple observation: people argue about property prices at every dinner table, but nobody keeps score.

What we believe

Market intuition is a skill, and skills grow with honest feedback. Every property in the game really sold, and every score reflects how close you came to the actual price — not how confident you sounded.

How the game stays fair

All players see the same clues a real buyer would: photos, size, rooms, location and description. The scoring is a published, logarithmic curve — generous with near-misses, unforgiving with wild guesses. No pay-to-win, no boosts, no shortcuts.

Built in the open spirit

PricePinner runs on open-source software wherever possible, and the characters on this site come from Open Peeps by Pablo Stanley (CC0). We like tools that are generous, because the game is meant to feel that way too.
