1 · Pick a home on the map
Tap a pin to open a real home that sold recently. You see photos, the area and the description. Every home sold in Sweden, and the answer is the real final price.
- Play near you for more distance points, or far away for a new area.
- You can guess each home only one time.
2 · Choose your mode
There are two modes. You choose the mode in Profile, then Preferences.
- Detailed (default): the hints are hidden. You open them one by one. Each hint that you open costs hint points.
- Quick Guess: all hints are open from the start. You get no hint points, so the maximum is 80 points per guess.
3 · Set your price
Type the price that you think the home sold for, or change it with the buttons. Then lock your guess. You see your score at once.
Three things make your score: how near the home you stand, how near the real price you guess, and how many hints you leave closed.
How points work
Each guess gives up to 100 points. The points come from three parts.
Distance up to 50 points
Stand near the home when you guess. Within 200 metres, you get all 50 points. Further away, the points go down on a logarithmic curve.
Good to know: a short distance costs few points. A guess from another city costs many points.
Accuracy up to 30 points
The nearer your guess is to the real final price, the more points you get.
Example: the home sold for 3 000 000 kr. A guess of 3 000 000 kr gives 30 points. A guess of 2 700 000 kr gives 27 points. A guess of 6 000 000 kr gives 0 points.
Hints up to 20 points
Every home has three hints: living area, rooms and year built. Many homes have more, for example the monthly fee, the floor or the energy class. The 20 points are split equally over the hints of the home.
Trade-off: a hint costs points, but it can make your price guess better. Open a hint only when you really need it.
