What is PricePinner?
PricePinner is a free mobile game for Android and iOS where you guess the final sale price of real Swedish homes and score up to 100 points per guess.
Is PricePinner free?
PricePinner is free on Android and iOS. It has no ads, no paid boosts and no in-app purchases.
Are the homes real?
Every home in PricePinner is a real home in Sweden that sold recently. The answer is its real final price from public information about the sale.
How does scoring work?
PricePinner gives up to 100 points per guess: up to 50 points for how near the home you stand, up to 30 points for how near the real price you guess, and up to 20 points for hints that you do not open. The full scale is on the how to play page.
What is the difference between Detailed and Quick Guess mode?
Detailed mode hides the hints, and each hint that you open costs hint points. Quick Guess mode shows all hints at once and gives no hint points, so the maximum is 80 points per guess. You change the mode in Profile, then Preferences.
Do I have to walk to the homes?
You can play PricePinner from anywhere. You get all 50 distance points when you stand within 200 metres of the home, and fewer points when you are further away.
Can I guess the same home twice?
You can guess each home only one time. This keeps the leaderboards fair.
Is there a game like GeoGuessr for house prices?
PricePinner is a game like GeoGuessr, but for house prices: you guess the final sale price of real Swedish homes, not a location. PricePinner is not affiliated with GeoGuessr. Read the full comparison.
Can I practise before I bid on a home?
You can practise before a bidding war when you guess the final price of sold homes in the area where you want to buy. After some guesses, you see if you usually guess too high or too low.
Account and privacy
Do I need an account?
PricePinner needs a free account. The account keeps your points, history and friends on all your devices. You can sign in with email, Google, Facebook or Apple.
Does PricePinner use my location?
PricePinner uses the location of your phone to show homes near you and to calculate distance points. The location of each guess is saved with the guess. Read the privacy policy.
How do I play with friends?
You open the Friends screen in the app, search for your friend and send a request. Your friend leaderboard changes after each guess.
How do I delete my account and data?
You delete your account in the app, in Profile, then Preferences, then Danger Zone. The data deletion page has all the steps. Deletion is permanent and also removes your points.

PricePinner is available for Android on Google Play and for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. One account works on both. See download.
Which languages does the app use?
The PricePinner app is available in English and Swedish.
Is PricePinner available in my country?
PricePinner covers homes in Sweden only. You can play from any country, but all homes are in Sweden.
