Play in English or Swedish

PricePinner is available in English and Swedish. Here is what that means for players.

Two players talk with speech bubbles, one blue and one yellow, next to a Swedish flag

PricePinner is available in English and Swedish. You choose the language in the app.

Why two languages?

The homes are in Sweden, so many players speak Swedish. But many people who live in Sweden, or who plan to move here, prefer English. We want both groups to play.

Swedish housing words

The game uses some Swedish words that are hard to translate. Here are the most common ones:

  • Slutpris: the final price that the home sold for.
  • Bostadsrätt: a flat that you own as a member of a housing association.
  • Avgift: the monthly fee to the housing association.
  • Villa: a detached house.
  • Radhus: a terraced house.

For newcomers

If you are new to Sweden, PricePinner is an easy way to learn what homes cost in different areas. Play in English, and learn the Swedish words as you go.

For learners of Swedish

Play in Swedish. Housing words come up again and again, and a game is a good way to remember them.
